Making Sense of the Sensors

Working independently with Jason, I have been trying to get the sensors setup. A visit to Jaycar produced some bits and bobs, a new aerial for a new light/R.H./temp sensor set close to the middle of the bridge. A setup for wind speed and rainfall that runs wirelessly to a receiver an reader. The transmission is at 445 mhz and so may not be able to be captured for the computer. So it may require a manual recording and setup as a text file. Automated would be best we just need an aerial to catch the feed, so don’t lose hope.

The new weather sensors are set up in the courtyard and is planned to be positioned on top of the bus shelter.

There is also a transducer to be setup to collect vibration.

Images of the sensors are attached.

The FM radio microphone is progressing well and should be attached to the bridge tomorrow.

The webcam and the audio are now setup and Jason, Ben, Alena and Bash? seem to be on it.
